Evidence governance

Research status

PickALicense keeps source provenance, review status, and publication decisions separate. Missing or expired required review blocks publication instead of being treated as a minor warning.

Qualified legal review is still a release gate

Engineering and source validation do not approve license-specific legal content. Public Advanced recommendations remain blocked until the required qualified and usability reviews are recorded.

Publication gate example

Internal validation includes a non-legal process claim with a pending review. The claim itself is not bundled into this public route; only its blocked release status is shown here.

Required review is incomplete, so public routes, results, metadata, downloads, and repository actions remain unavailable.

Source registry

14 stable source IDs currently resolve every source reference used by the Beginner workflow and comparison matrix. Registry status: source-indexed-awaiting-qualified-legal-review.

Fail-closed governance enforcement

Review provenance, claim-level requirements, source audits, and publication boundaries are validated before content can become public.
